We are now back in cold, cold Ottawa after our Christmas excursions. We were able to find last minute flights to Utah for Christmas which some fantastic Grandparents paid for (Thanks again!) so we spent our Christmas with my parents and brothers etc.. We had a really fun time and Anya had an especially great Christmas. She ran around the house playing with everything she could find, going up and down stairs, climbing on things, and generally having a great time. It was really nice to have someone else chase her all the time. So here are some photos of the fun.
So that was the super fun of Christmas- but I wanted to show you a project I started and finished yesterday. I have been wanting to make this for a while now but haven't done it since Anya received the crayons from Santa so I had to wait until after Christmas. It is based on a pattern from Last-Minute Patchwork + Quilted Gifts with I don't actually own, but have looked at enough that I was able to figure it out. We took it to church today with great results. Anya loves to take the crayons out and put them straight back in.

Those are some great pictures. How fun for all of you.
And that crayon thing is SOOOO cool! What a great idea. Thanks for posting that.
I love it! You get right on things, which I don't and I find very impressive. mum
Your crayon thing is neat but unfortunately it induced a vivid Joy Managano infomercial flashback. Rolykit!
