Beaching

You all know that the UK is not known for it great weather conditions. In fact, I will venture to say that it actually is awful, terrible, the worst place ever. It never is actually cold, but it is also never actually warm. All winter long it was between 10 and 12C, and now it is between 12 and 15C. This last week, since we came back from Canada it has been particularly bad. Cold and windy and raining everyday. I have actually missed Canadian winters, you see, I have not experienced any seasons per say. With no winter weather and now no hot weather I am ready to go crazy.

Today was slightly warmer and actually sunny out. We decided to take the opportunity to go down to the beach, but by the time we got there the clouds had rolled in. However no wind meant that we could still enjoy ourselves. Anya had a great time playing in the rocks, and we spent the time trying to keep her from actually eating the rocks. Hope you enjoy the pics!

OH, you may not have sand and you may not have warmth (overrated says I living where it will be 100 degrees Fahrenheit today)but you do have the most beautiful child who obviously enjoys herself even on a cool and rocky beach. Enjoy it while you can!!!

That kind of weather sounds so much like Seattle. Our high today was 67 and that's been about average. It's not that it's horribly cold, but it's July and I want to be warm. I'm going a little bit crazy too. All I want is a week of 90 degree weather and I'd be happy. And why is it that kids feel it necessary to taste everything they get their hands on? Do they not have taste buds? Reid's favorite is sticks. :)

Her blue shirt is very complementary with the gray-beige of rocks and sand and her beautiful eyes! So is the story that you're done with the studies there and will now be working in Ottowa? Were you thinking of coming back to the Phoenix area? You'd definitely get your fill of warmth here...searing! Good luck with solidifying plans and keep us posted.

Yeah Chrys lives!!! I haven't heard anything for awhile so I wasn't sure.. you are right I should have negotiated a trip to the UK while Trevor and I were at the table pre-bar! Unfotunately the bank is drained and now it already looks like you are heading back to Canada! We will be more than happy to come to Canada sometime for a visit or whatever country you might find yourself in! Happy belated birthday to ANYA.. have a great rest of the summer!! liz

I want in on the Canada trip, that sounds fun. Even though the weather wasn't great it looks like Anya still had a blast. She sure is a smiley one, I bet you love that.
